PREMAFLEX Pinch Valves – Plastic Version
PREMAFLEX pinch valves in plastic versions are particularly suitable for aggressive, chemically corrosive or food-grade media. PREMA-SERVICE offers POM (polyoxymethylene) and PP (polypropylene) – both food-grade in accordance with BfR and FDA standards, in sizes from DN 15 to DN 50.
PREMAFLEX POM pinch valves
PQVI-POM pinch valves are available in nominal diameters from DN 15 to DN 50. They are made of polyoxymethylene in a natural colour finish (POM-natural). Polyoxymethylene is a material with exceptionally low wear characteristics and is characterised by high strength, toughness, low cold creep and high elasticity.
The material is food-grade and complies with FDA requirements as well as the recommendations of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). Special versions are available on request.
The PQVI-POM series valve consists of a POM housing, two clamping pieces, two POM-natural union nuts and a built-in highly elastic rubber sleeve. The sleeve is centred within the housing and is securely held in place on both sides by clamping pieces and union nuts. This means that a fully functional PREMAFLEX pinch valve consists of just six components.
The robust and compact design of the PQVI series allows for installation even under difficult conditions and in confined spaces. The highly elastic sleeve seals reliably even when solids are present – even with high cycling frequencies. Various sleeve grades are available to suit different applications.

| Control air connection: | G ⅜” thread in accordance with DIN ISO 228 |
PREMAFLEX PQVI-PP Series Pinch Valves
PREMAFLEX PQVI-PP series pinch valves are available in nominal diameters from DN 15 to DN 50. They are made of grey polypropylene (PP-grey). Polypropylene is a material resistant to many chemical influences and offers high resistance to alcohols, organic solvents and fats. Furthermore, PP is characterised by high hardness and rigidity.
The material is food-grade and complies with FDA requirements as well as the recommendations of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). Special versions are available on request.
The PQVI-PP series valve consists of a polypropylene housing, two clamping pieces, two grey PP union nuts and a built-in highly elastic rubber sleeve. The sleeve is centred within the housing and is securely held in place on both sides by clamping pieces and union nuts. This results in a fully functional PREMAFLEX pinch valve comprising just six components.
The robust and compact design of the PQVI series allows for installation even under difficult conditions and in confined spaces. The highly elastic sleeve provides a reliable seal even when solids are present – even with high cycling frequencies. Various sleeve grades are available to suit different applications.
