Industrial burners
PREMA-SERVICE develops and supplies industrial burners for petrochemical plants, furnaces and thermal processing plants. The focus is on the refurbishment and replacement of existing burner systems in order to improve combustion, reduce emissions and ensure reliable plant operation.
Existing plants and furnaces still mostly use burners that no longer meet today’s requirements for effectiveness, efficiency and environmental protection. For this reason, PREMA-SERVICE has developed new furnace burners that ensure optimum utilisation of fuels (e.g. natural gas, refinery gases and heating oils).
The design guarantees a reduction in NOx and CO levels whilst ensuring the best possible combustion. PREMA-SERVICE’s industrial burners are ‘tailor-made’ to suit the furnace and the existing burner systems. In doing so, all the customer’s specifications regarding
- capacity, fuel types, environmental regulations
- arrangement on the furnace, from horizontal to vertical, including at any angle
- natural draught or preheated forced air
- ignition and monitoring in all variants
On request, our burners can also be designed for operation with ammonia (NH₃) as a fuel – a growing area of demand within the industry.
Standard burner
Conventional single-stage burners with a round flame are available as gas burners for natural gas, as dual-gas burners for two different gases (e.g. natural gas and refinery gas) or as combination burners for gas and light or heavy oil.
Advantages:
- Tailor-made, including for replacing existing burners
- High flame stability even under varying operating conditions
- Wide control range up to 1:5 can be operated without difficulty.
- Floor, ceiling or side-wall configurations (up-fired / down-fired / side-fired)
- Cost-effective design
- Compact flame
- Sturdy air damper, adjustable via a grid
- Adaptable to the installation situation
- Gas nozzle made from heat-resistant material
- Burner blocks are integrated
Low NOx burner
PREMA-SERVICE Low NOx burners are an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative for replacing older standard burners or for use in new furnaces. They are available with gas staging for natural gas, as dual burners (e.g. natural gas with staging and refinery gas) and as combination burners for two fuels (e.g. natural gas with staging and oil). Thanks to their flexible adaptation to specific installation situations, a direct 1:1 replacement of older models (including those from other manufacturers) is easily achievable. Otherwise, they offer the same advantages as standard burners.
Ignition systems and flame monitoring
All our burners can be supplied with pilot lights for ignition, flame monitoring (UV sensors or ionisation) and automatic control. Pilot lights are available for many gases (from propane to hydrogen), with either manual or electric ignition.
Hand-held ignition devices are available for manual ignition.
